DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF AUTOMATIC PHASE SELECTOR USING OP-AMP COMPARATOR

Abstract

As the growing population of human race widens the gulf between energy supply and energy demand, the imbalance in energy availability. Consequently, the power lines are frequently over loaded resulting to a trip of power by the action of switch gears or by the load shading process undertaken by the distribution authorities. The automatic three phase power system selector was designed and constructed to ease the prevalent burden faced by delicate offices and institutions who need very low but constant power supply selector. The device automatically switches over to the alternative phase that has current whenever there is low current or power failure
